Exam 512 - DB2 Family Fundamentals Each exam has a time limit of 75 minutes. The number of questions and the cut score for each exam varies. For example, exam 512 has 55 questions and you must score 55 percent or higher to pass it. To become certified as a Database Administrator, you must pass both exams 512 and 513. Exam 512 covers basic DB2 concepts like SQL, installation, packaging, security, and concurrency. Exam 513 is much more detailed and focuses on the job tasks that a database administrator does in his or her daily job.
